A floor plan is a scaled diagram of a room or building viewed from above. The floor plan may depict an entire building, one floor of a building, or a single room. It may also include measurements, furniture, appliances, or anything else necessary to the purpose of the plan.

Rightmove released a study in 2013 that suggests that real estate buyers consider floor plans not just nice to have, but essential when looking at properties. One in five said they would ignore a property without a floor plan. They also rated floor plans more important than photos and the description of the property. If you need to exchange your plans, The House Designers will exchange your first plan purchase for another house plan of equal value up to 14 days after your purchase. To exchange our home plans, simply call customer service at 866-214-2242 within 14 days of purchase for information on how to return your unused plans that have not been used, marked on, or copied. Electronic plans including PDF and CAD plans are non-exchangeable. Modified or custom house plans are also not exchangeable and all exchanges are subject to a 20% restocking fee to cover printing and shipping.
Living arrangements in Edgerton House consist of several styles of apartments. Edgerton House is a converted warehouse and every room in every apartment is unique. There are 2 studio and 16 one-bedroom units for one student, 37 two-bedroom units for two students, 24 three-bedroom units for three students and 5 four-bedroom duplex units for four students. In the two-, three- and four-bedroom apartments, each resident is assigned his/her own bedroom and shares the kitchen, bathroom and living room. There are apartments and rooms specifically modified to accommodate disabled residents. Edgerton House is coed but three- and four-bedroom apartments are single sex. The two-bedroom apartments can be co-ed (both male and female occupants) upon request. Edgerton House is not furnished, but has wall-to-wall carpeting, central air-conditioning and kitchen appliances (stove and refrigerator).
